Walker Engineering is a Las Vegas based civil design consulting firm specializing in land development projects (commercial, industrial and residential).

We can handle all civil engineering aspects of your project including (but not limited to): Boundary Survey, ALTA Survey, Existing Topography, Utility Research, Entitlements, Tentative Map, Hydrology Study, Water Network Analysis, Grading Design, Utility Design, Traffic Control Design, Horizontal Control Plans, Storm Drain Design, Street Plan and Profile Design, Quantity Estimates, Earthwork Calculations, Parcel Mapping, Commercial and Residential Subdivisions, Project Processing, and much more!

Retail Projects +
From Starbucks to KFC, we can help you with the design of your retail project. We understand the importance of knowing the end user needs and making sure our plans reflect then. We also understand that keeping flexibility with retail space is just as important when the tenants are unknown.
Office Projects +
We understand the needs that go into the design of an office building and an office park. We always work closely with the Architect and Owner to ensure that our designs are coordinated.
Industrial Projects +
For Industrial projects, we work with our clients and ensure that we meet the needs of the user of the site. We understand the importance of good loading dock design and the impacts of grading design on the truck access.
Residential Subdivisions +
From the original lot layouts to construction, we understand what goes into doing a residential subdivision. We have been involved in many residential projects from early conception to construction.
Subdivisions and Parcel Maps +
Each project has unique mapping needs. We can help you decide which type of map is best for your project, and we can prepare and process the map. We will work with you to determine what your intentions are for the project (i.e. hold onto the property, sell individual lots, lease lots, etc) and make sure that the end product meets your needs up front. We can also prepare Record of Surveys for your project after a Commercial Subdivision Map is recorded. We have extensive experience with mapping and we understand the importance of timing and coordination.
Land Planning +
We can help you lay out a site plan, residential lots, or just take a look at what is feasible for a particular property.
Project Entitlements +
We can help you file a zone change, design review, waivers, or any other entitlement application with the applicable agency. We understand the application process and what is required for the submittals. We also do public hearing representation for entitlements.
ALTA/ACSM Land Surveys +
Whether you need an ALTA for lending purposes, or just to see what the encumbrances are on a property, we can prepare and ALTA to meet your specific needs. We prepare the ALTA Surveys in accordance with the 2005 Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys as adopted by the American Land Title Association and the National Society of Professional Surveyors and conform with Nevada Revised Statutes and the Standards of Practice for Professional Land Surveyors contained in the Nevada Administrative Code. We will coordinate with you to ensure that we include any other items you might require to be on the ALTA Survey.
Due Diligence +
One of the most important steps for a project is due diligence. We understand that you typically will have a relatively short period of time to research a particular site and determine what the encumbrances are on a property. We prepare research and due diligence reports for many clients and understand the items that are important for research on a property.
Boundary Surveys +
A Boundary Survey is an important part of a project. We will provide you with an accurate and reliable survey that can be used for an ALTA, design and mapping purposes.
Existing Topography +
Using the most up to date methods (aerial), we provide accurate and reliable existing topography for any project.
LEED Certification +
We are proud to have two (2) LEED Accredited Professionals on staff to help our clients meet sustainability goals on projects and we offer LEED Certification as part of our services. We can assist with portions of your certification related to site improvements or we can handle the entire certification process for you and coordinate all the required LLD submittals for certification. Whatever your specific needs might be, we are available to help you meet them when it comes to LEED Certification.
