We are currently hiring for a business development associate.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will report to the President and will:
*Initiate, build and maintain positive relations with public officials, private clients, potential construction partners and developers.
*Identify, qualify and pursue new project opportunities.
*Assist with the identification, qualification and pursuit of new project opportunities.
*Meet with president to discuss, develop and implement new strategic marketing plans and to regularly review and assess current and recent development efforts and marketing initiatives.
*Assist in updating and developing marketing literature and focused marketing initiatives.
*Assist in gathering information and writing Company news stories and website project descriptions.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
*Architectural/Engineering/Construction background preferred.
*A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related industry field preferred.
*Hands-on business development experience, preferably in engineering, construction or development and to quickly become familiar with:
-Owners' project implementation procedures.
-Qualifications, proposal and presentation development, including coordination of multi-company teams, writing and graphics design.
-The process of independently researching and networking in order to procure new project leads.
*Excellent oral and written communications and presentation skills.
*Creative writing expertise with marketing and proposal materials.
*Organizational, multi-tasking and detail management skills.
*Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Internet, e mail, customer resource management). Familiarity with publishing software, graphic design concepts and reproduction methods are a big plus.
*Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
*A track record as a persistent, resilient self-starter who is able to work effectively on their own or in a team, with minimum supervision.
*Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
*Outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with a wide variety of managers, government officials, and technical/support personnel in a decentralized organization.
*Flexible hours required as after-work hours maybe required for networking and business development functions.
